Last year I stumbled across singer/songwriter duo from the state of Florida.  They were playing PSLAM salon and were called Orphan Train.  I feel in love with them and their music.  Over the last year we made a record together called Animal Groom produced and recorded here at Melodyvision.  Wolf and Amanda changed their name to the WINTERLINGS Check them out www.winterlings.com/

Rodney acted in a new film, Cost of a Soul (out in 2010), a gritty tale of two veterans who return home from Iraq to the war-zone of their own slum neighborhood in North Philly. Writer and Director Sean Kirkpatrick enlisted Rodney to play the wise old bass player in a jazz band. It's a speaking role! (Well, one line). Rodney is also a consultant on the film and composed its original soundtrack. The score consist of some way out jazz. Rodney enlisted Jay Davidson (sax) and Don Liuzzi (drums). Sun Ra would be proud. The film has been tearing up the Film festival circut for the past year. You can cath it at the Holloywood Film Festival Sunday, October 24 · 5:00pm - 11:30pm Arclight Cinemas Hollywood
